What It’s Like to Serve on the MBBSF Board
When we started MBBSF, it was about helping students who just needed someone to believe in them. That hasn’t changed. What’s helped us grow is the people who said yes to serving…board members who show up, share ideas, and truly care. If you’re someone who believes in education and impact, we’d love to have you with us.
Dr. Brenda Boston Hudson
CEO & Co-Founder
Being on the MBBSF board has been one of the most rewarding things I’ve done. As a research and development chair I’ve worked on fundraising and creating scholarships that help students afford their education. It’s not always easy work, but the impact we see every year makes every effort worth it. If you’re thinking about joining, it’s a great way to give back to the community.

Research & Development Committee Chair
